Java desktop links of the week, March 29

I'm a bit late with the links this week - apologies. It was a quiet week this past week, but in any case, I hope you enjoy the following links.

  • Tom Eugelink continues to explore building mobile JavaFX applications using Gluon technologies.
  • The bitsquare project released a new version of their client. Bitsquare is a "cross-platform desktop application that allows users to trade national currency (dollars, euros, etc) for bitcoin without relying on centralized exchanges such as Coinbase, Bitstamp or (the former) Mt. Gox."
  • Michael Hoffer has a presentation from a recent Devoxx conference about 'algorithmic 3-D modeling, language modeling and visual programming', where a lot of the technology he uses is JavaFX-based.
