Another week of links is upon us. Enjoy!
JavaFX
- Tom Schindl continues to keep himself very busy with e(fx)clipse. This week he has a post on how in e(fx)clipse 1.2.0 themes are OSGi services. He also has a post on a new service that is available in e(fx)clipse to observe a filesystem path.
- Gail Anderson and Paul Anderson have posted '20 Reasons Why You Should Move to JavaFX and the NetBeans Platform'.
- Hendrik Ebbers has posted about how to use emojis in JavaFX.
- Lighthouse is a cool JavaFX-based app for "all-or-nothing fund raising. Using advanced features of the Bitcoin protocol it is now possible to create Kickstarter-style fund raising initiatives in an entirely decentralised way. No middlemen unless you want them, and no fees beyond the usual Bitcoin transaction fees (just a fraction of a dollar cent)."
- Sébastien Bordes has announced the release of JRebirth Application Framework 8.0.0.
- Pedro Duque Vieira has added a gallery control to his JavaFX ribbon control. It's starting to take shape! :-)
- William Antônio Siqueira has two posts this week. Firstly, he has posted on how to export a JavaFX application to an animated GIF. Secondly, he has created the stacker game in JavaFX.
- Dirk Lemmermann has added editing capabilities to his (commercial) FlexCalendarFX library. Looks very nice.
- JavaFXTutorials.com has a tutorial on checkboxes in JavaFX and FXML.
That's that for another week - catch you in a weeks time! :-)
