Another week, another batch of links. Enjoy!
JavaFX
- Martin Sladecek, one of my colleagues in the JavaFX team at Oracle, has posted about dynamic layouts in JavaFX.
- Tim Heng has been working on a visualisation written in JavaFX for better understanding movie ratings.
- Steven Schwenke has two posts this week. Firstly, he has an extendable search pane, and secondly, an extendable navigation pane.
- Jens Deters has posted a video of his picmodo setup software. I think it would be great to extract out of this installer a wizards library!
- Tom Schindl has an interesting blog post on embedding Swing into SWT by making use of changes in Java 8.0 to make better allowances for JavaFX.
- Sébastien Bordes has announced that JRebirth Application Framework 7.7.0 has been released.
- Narayan G. Maharjan has posted on how to do TableView multiple selection using mouse press.
- andrewsw has posted a tutorial on moving from Swing to JavaFX.
- IDR Solutions has written part eight of their series on writing a JavaFX PDF viewer plugin for Netbeans, this time focusing on opening encrypted PDFs.
That's all folks! Catch you again next week.
