Martin,

Still no luck - it seems to be a completely 'clean' crash - I see no stacktrace or error log. It's a shame as I'm keen to see what the Tech Test Train is all about :-)

Cheers,
Jonathan

Jonathan, I got some JVM / WS crash before; You should try to run the app on the command line to get some JVM error or stack trace; javaws http://xxx/file.jnlp should to the trick.

Hi Cindy,

When I go to run the game it downloads via webstart, but then crashes with the normal Windows Vista error message titled "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working". Then I am presented with options to 'check for online solutions' or 'close the program'. I'm using Windows Vista (32-bit) version. I have never experienced a webstart crash like this before. Obviously when TTT starts up it is doing something that my computer doesn't like. Having said that there is no stacktrace or anything.

Cheers,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, I'm one of the Instructional Designers for the Tech Test Train. I saw your blog that said the game crashes on your system. Will you please give me more details about the problems that you are having when you run the game? What OS are you using?
Thanks, Cindy

I would have preferred the @close annotation of project Lombok instead of what is to be include now. (http://projectlombok.org/index.html)
